I hear you loud and clear. I went to Virginia to a family dinner at a restaurant and all they had to offer me was an iceberg lettuce salad with a couple of cherry tomatoes. I didn’t order the vegetable plate because the woman said they were already premade and sauteed in butter. I’m not vegan but I also don’t want to clog my arteries! lol.

It was horrible when traveling. It was French fries or salad and Vegetarian Times with strange and tasteless food. Being Black didn’t help. Family was always slipping meat in dishes or mixing my Vegetarian meal prep utensils with theirs, contaminating my cooking utensils and food. Now there are so many options.
